Job Description
This UI/UX Designer role at Steampunk involves guiding government clients through their Design IntelligenceTM framework, focusing on user-centered solutions. Responsibilities include UX research, prototyping, wireframing, usability testing, and iterating on designs. The role also includes collaboration with various teams to deliver high-quality, elegant digital solutions.
Requirements
- Ability to obtain a U.S. government Public Trust Security Clearance
- 4+ years of professional UX/UI design experience creating viable solutions for multi-platform digital products, mobile, and responsive web design
- Thorough knowledge and demonstrated experience applying UX/UI methods and tools
- UI design skills and familiarity with design systems
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Invision, Axure, and/or other prototyping tools
- Desire to keep pace with ever-changing industry tools and best practices
- Experience working in a multi-disciplinary group
- A natural curiosity for solving problems coupled with strong analytical skills
- A collaborative nature with excellent written communication and presentation skills
