Automotive Market Manager

This Automotive Market Manager role focuses on providing commercial liaison between Aluminum Dynamics (ADL) and automotive customers like OEMs, stampers, and service centers. The position is customer-facing and supports the company's growth strategy through sales, commercial activities, and building relationships with key stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator and contribute to profitability.

Requirements

• Proven 3+ years previous outside sales experience in the steel or aluminum flat rolled automotive market
• Experience with large, global automotive OEM’s
• Automotive OEM aluminum sheet commercial/technical experience
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams without direct reporting authority
• High energy, team-oriented and relationship driven
• Ability to travel frequently (30-60%)
• Fiduciary responsibility for managing expenses and travel
• Proficient in computer skills including excel
• Excellent communication skills
• Reside in/Relocate to the Detroit metropolitan area
