Data Analytics Internship

Data Analytics Internship at Steel Dynamics, supporting business intelligence development for one of the company’s largest recycling divisions. Interns will design and automate interactive dashboards and data tools, working with live reports from the new ERP system. Opportunity to work cross-functionally with leadership in operations, marketing, and IT, building end-to-end reporting solutions that drive business decisions.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Marketing, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, Power Query) and Power BI preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Self-motivated, eager to learn, and proactive in finding data-driven solutions.
