Electrical Engineering Internship

Steel Dynamics offers a 12-week electrical engineering internship at their Sinton Flat Roll Division in Texas. Interns will work on a variety of projects, including substation reliability, preventative maintenance, and instrumentation and control design. The internship provides hands-on field experience, training on industry-leading technologies, and opportunities to collaborate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams.

Requirements

• Enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology
• Degree program or experience should include one or more of the following: electrical machinery, power distribution, PLCs/automation systems, power electronics/drives
• Preferred GPA of at least 2.7
