Equipment Operator

This position is for an Equipment Operator at OmniSource in Duck Hill, MS. The operator will be responsible for operating heavy-duty material handling equipment like dump trucks, wheel loaders, and forklifts, loading and unloading materials, and assisting with inventory management. They will also need to ensure equipment is well-maintained.

Requirements

• Operate multiple types of material handling equipment: dump truck, wheel loader, skid steer loader, and forklift.
• Load containers and sort scrap material.
• Inspect Equipment and fuel/lubricate regularly.
• Assist with inventory updates and changes.
• Cross train on various equipment types.
• Ability to work in all types of weather conditions
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Understanding of safety regulations
