Steel Dynamics is seeking a Safety Intern to join the Steel Dynamics Techs Division. This internship will focus on supporting the facility's safety team, participating in safety training, conducting safety audits, and contributing to a culture of safety. The role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams and a commitment to ensuring a safe work environment for both employees and the community.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a safety-related major
• Willingness to conduct safety audits and inspections in an industrial environment
• Foundational knowledge of OSHA standards
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent communication and analytical skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
