Job Description
We are looking for highly motivated scientists and software engineers to develop and maintain high-quality, extensible scientific codes. The role supports development in areas like space domain awareness, laser source modeling, and high-performance computing. Candidates should be proficient in modern C++ practices and willing to work at government or customer sites.
Requirements
- Ph.D., M.S., or B.S. in physics, math, electrical/mechanical/aerospace engineering, computer science, or related field
- Ability to implement, understand, and maintain mathematical and scientific codes
- Substantial software development experience
- Interest in developing modern, high quality C++20/23 code
- U.S. citizenship, background investigation required
- Cross-platform software development experience
- 3D graphics with OpenGL, Open Scene Graph, WebGL
- User interface development with Qt, Java Swing, Material UI
- Supercomputing experience
- Image processing, imagery analysis, or computer vision
- Aerospace vehicles, orbital mechanics, electromagnetics, or space domain awareness
