Job Description
Stevens Cooperative School is seeking an Associate Teacher for the Kindergarten through 4th Grade classroom. This is a 2025-26 school year position with immediate start and a commitment to training and supporting new teachers. The role involves class support, lesson planning, student assessment, and parent communication, with opportunities for collaboration with other teachers and students. The Associate Teacher program is focused on progressive education and professional development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, Master’s preferred
- Arrival by 8:15am
- Attend weekly faculty meetings, Back to School Night, and parent-teacher conferences
- Attend start of year and closing faculty meetings
- Attend grade-related field trips
- Assist head teacher in lesson planning and assessment
- Develop classroom management strategies
