Spvr, Quality Assurance

STIHL is seeking a Quality Assurance Supervisor to oversee the Quality Assurance function, ensuring all components, processes, and products meet technical requirements. The ideal candidate will have a 4-year degree in a related field and at least 5 years of direct experience administering the quality function in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

Requirements

• Supervises Quality Assurance operations to assure all components, processes and products will satisfy technical requirements.
• Serves as technical liaison with STIHL R&D Germany, suppliers and internal production operations to effectively resolve all issues, promote quality, productivity improvements and cost reduction.
• Supervises operations to assure all quality planning, budgetary, procedural, legal, personnel and safety requirements are effectively applied.
• Promotes process improvement through the successful application of management and quality tools.
• Supervises employees through the development and deployment of performance strategies that increase employee productivity, quality and well-being.
