Job Description
Stoke is building a fully reusable rocket vehicle, Nova, to reduce the cost and increase availability of space transportation. The Engineers Team is focused on designing and testing components for the propulsion system, and they are seeking a highly motivated individual to contribute to all phases of the product lifecycle. The role involves design, analysis, manufacturing, testing, and validation.
Requirements
- Exceptional command of fundamentals
- Experience with detailed mechanical design including machined parts, additive parts, weldments, fasteners, seals, and translating/rotating assemblies
- Experience in designing, analyzing, and testing rocket engine components
- Experience in GD&T, axial/radial tolerance stackups, and material selections
- Proficiency in heat transfer, compressible and incompressible flow, and cryogenics fundamentals
- Proficiency with CAD tools (Siemens NX preferred)
