Job Description
STR is seeking an Embedded Signal Processing Engineer to design, develop, and test embedded software for distributed underwater acoustic systems. This role involves implementing signal processing algorithms, utilizing low-power hardware, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have experience in signal processing, software development, and hardware implementation.
Requirements
- Strong experience in developing software for embedded systems, particularly on ARM processors and DSP boards.
- Proven ability to design and implement real-time deterministic algorithms for acoustic signal processing.
- Proficiency in low-level programming languages (C/C++) and high-level languages (MATLAB, Python).
- Experience with LINUX operating systems and development containers.
- Solid understanding of acoustic signal processing principles.
- Experience with I2C, UART, and SPI interfaces.
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
