Attorney Fee Motion

Strategic Legal Practices is seeking a full-time Fee Motion Attorney to draft, oppose, and argue attorneys’ fee motions in complex litigation. The role involves pursuing and defending the firm’s rights in state and federal courts, utilizing California’s fee-shifting statutes and federal lodestar principles. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, persuasive in writing and argument, and eager to leverage technology.

Requirements

• Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar
• 4+ years of litigation experience
• Strong understanding of fee-shifting statutes and lodestar methodologies
• Exceptional writing, legal analysis, and oral advocacy skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Comfortable with judges, opposing counsel, and internal staff interactions
• Tech-savvy
