The GIS, Spatial, and Data Analyst will work with large, spatial, and GIS data sets to pull, analyze, report, visualize, and interpret data for technical and non-technical audiences. The role involves performing use case analysis, developing applications, creating and managing File Geodatabases, conducting data mining and quantitative and qualitative analysis, and creating scripts using various programming languages.
Requirements
- Must be a US citizen and clearable
- 5 years of experience in related field
- Bachelor’s degree
- Demonstrated familiarity with Esri ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online
- Experience with: Python, R Studio, SQL, Arcade, VisQL, M, Power Query, DAX, and common geographic information system (GIS) programming languages
- Experience with: AGOL, ArcGIS Hub, Tableau, MS Azure, MS 365, Power BI, SharePoint, Teams, Power Automate, and Power Apps
- Strong professional, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Demonstrated cross-functional team collaboration skills
- Demonstrated technical writing and presentation skills
- Analytical Skills: work with large amounts of data, including facts, figures, and number analysis; see through the data and analyze it to find conclusions
- Critical Thinking: look at the numbers, trends, and data and come to new conclusions based on the findings
- Attention to Detail: data is precise; the successful candidate will be vigilant in the analysis to come to correct conclusions
