Principal Oracle Database Administrator

Striim is looking for an exceptionally experienced Senior Oracle Database Administrator with over 20 years of hands-on expertise in architecting, implementing, and optimizing complex Oracle database environments.

Requirements

• 20+ years of hands-on Oracle DBA experience managing large-scale, mission-critical environments.
• Must have a deep understanding of Oracle architecture, internals, and performance diagnostics.
• Proven expertise in Oracle RAC, Active Data Guard, downstream environments, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure OCI.
• Strong ability to interpret AWR/ASH reports, alert logs, trace files, and resolve complex issues.
• Extensive knowledge of HA/DR strategies and RMAN-based backup and recovery.
• Solid Linux/Unix fundamentals and proficiency in shell scripting.
• Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to operate in demanding environments
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work across cross-functional teams.
• Ability to lead complex initiatives and mentor junior team members.
