Compliance Manager, Canada

Strike is hiring a Compliance Manager to help build their Canadian business by establishing and leading the Compliance function. The role requires deep regulatory expertise in Canada and practical experience navigating compliance frameworks.

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive experience in Compliance within a highly regulated Canadian financial institution, FinTech, or similar sector
• Prior experience in, or strong familiarity with, licensing or registration processes for regulated financial entities and CIRO members in Canada
• In-depth knowledge of the Canadian regulatory landscape, including applicable rules for bitcoin companies and custodians
• Must meet, or be eligible to meet, CIRO Chief Compliance Officer proficiency standards, including relevant securities or compliance qualifications
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, organisational, and writing skills, and strong interpersonal and organisational skills
