The position of a Boilermaker- Lead is responsible for the day-to-day mechanical activities performed in client facilities. A Boilermaker- Lead performs the mechanical work toward its projects' goal of Safety, Quality, Productivity and Service.
Requirements
- Assemble, install, analyze defects, and repair boilers, pressure vessels, tanks, vats, and duct work in the field.
- Repair or replace defective parts using hand and power tools, gas torches, welding equipment and may operate metalworking machinery to repair or make parts.
- Ensure safe working environment while performing work in the client's facilities.
- Operate and maintain company owned and rented equipment.
- Report any job scope changes to the Supervisor or Superintendent.
- Maintain communication with Supervisor while performing tasks.
- Support the Supervisor and Superintendent by assisting in the development of customer expectations and timelines.
- Ensure the overall safety of assigned subordinates and provide a safe work environment for such personnel.
- Follow all Company Safety, Quality Control/ Quality Assurance procedures and OSHA guidelines.
- Attend and complete trainings as required by the Company and client.
- Pass all required drug/alcohol testing and background requirements.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
