Senior Scientist to Principal Scientist, In-vivo Biology

Senior Scientist to Principal Scientist, In-vivo Biology role at Structure Therapeutics. Advance research pipeline and drug discovery projects. Lead biology and drive discovery project to progress and achieve milestones. Design and execute in vivo pharmacology studies to support target validation and drug candidate discovery.

Requirements

• PhD in Biology or related field with at least 2 years of post-doctoral experience. Industrial experience is preferred
• Hands on experience in in vivo pharmacology and assays
• Deep understanding of obesity and metabolic disease related physiology and pathology
• Experience in working with translational teams a plus
• Experience in discovering and validating drug targets and in progressing molecules into lead optimization. Experience in driving projects towards IND is preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to organize and communicate complex data sets in a clear and concise manner
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional team
• Prior experience working at fast-paced biotech is preferred
