STUDENT-FWS- Northeast Kids Count

Northeast Kids Count, Inc. is seeking program counselors for their Northeast Elementary after-school program. This role involves supervising elementary students during after-school hours, facilitating activities, planning activities, and providing ongoing training. The program is play-based and choice-based, with staff rotating through activity facilitation.

Requirements

• Preference for candidates with degrees or those working toward degrees in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Recreation, or another field
• At least one year of experience working with elementary aged children
• Pass a Comprehensive Background Check (NYS)
• Complete training set forth by the NY Office of Children and Family Services (NYOCFS)
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Full and current license to work in the United States
