Civil/Transportation Engineer

STV is seeking a Transportation Engineer to join our team in either Franklin or Chattanooga, TN. This position offers excellent potential for career advancement and requires a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, a PE license, and 5+ years of transportation design experience.

Requirements

• Providing professional design services for transportation improvement projects for the TDOT and local County/City agencies.
• Developing design plans including horizontal and vertical alignments, cross sections, typical sections, superelevation data and miscellaneous roadway detail sheets.
• Designing to adhere to ADA Standards.
• Coordinating design development and providing technical direction and mentorship to the design team.
• Coordinating with the design team to achieve quality deliverables within the established schedule and budget, and the development of specifications, cost estimates, reports and preparing final bid packages.
• Assisting with the preparation of technical and cost proposals.
• Maintaining relationships with client technical staff and project managers.
• Attending project meetings with clients, sub-consultants, and the project team.
