Facility Engineer

The Facility Engineer leads the design, deployment, and continuous improvement of plant systems and infrastructure supporting paint operations. This role owns automation platforms, critical facility assets, and capital engineering programs that enable safe, reliable, and cost-effective production.

Requirements

• Own and lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of facility systems supporting paint operations
• Drive strategic automation and digitalization initiatives to modernize facility capabilities
• Develop long-term facility automation roadmaps aligned with plant business objectives
• Serve as technical owner for facility equipment and systems
• Lead capital projects related to facility upgrades, automation installations, and infrastructure modernization
• Partner with controls, robotics, IT, and maintenance teams to deploy scalable automation architectures
• Identify systemic risks and constraints within facility systems and lead cross-functional countermeasures
• Establish and maintain facility performance metrics using data analytics
• Conduct technical assessments and audits of facility systems to ensure compliance with safety standards
• Manage external vendors and integrators
• Lead root cause analysis and recovery efforts for major facility-related failures
• Develop and maintain professional technical documentation for facility systems
• Utilize CAD and digital engineering tools to support facility layout planning and automation concepts
• Own project master schedules and capital budgets for facility engineering initiatives
• Act as a technical liaison between operations, maintenance, engineering, and leadership to ensure facility systems effectively support production needs
• Drive continuous improvement of facility systems through modernization, standardization, and technology adoption
