County Safeguarding Manager

We're seeking a confident and competent individual to lead our safeguarding services for children in care, those subject to child protection plans, and vulnerable children due to criminal and sexual exploitation. As a County Safeguarding Manager, you'll be responsible for maintaining excellent relationships with partner organizations and managing a team of 7 Independent Reviewing Officer/CP Chairs.

Requirements

• Recognized social work qualification
• Experience at a management level
• Knowledge of current research and legislation
• Ability to chair complex multi-disciplinary meetings
• Exceptional writing skills
• Considerable experience of children in care and child protection
• Working with exploited and vulnerable children
