Emergency Preparedness Officer

The Suffolk County’s Bureau of Public Health Emergency Preparedness (PHEP) is seeking an Emergency Preparedness Officer to develop plans and conduct drills to ensure the county is prepared to respond to public health emergencies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Emergency Management, Homeland Security, or a related field
• 1 year of experience in emergency program planning, emergency services training, and/or fire safety management
• 5 years of experience in emergency program planning, emergency services training, and/or fire safety management (for high school graduation or equivalent)
