Fundraising Officer

The Pear Tree Fund is seeking a Fundraising Officer to join their small, friendly team. The successful candidate will have experience in fundraising, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with various audiences. The role involves developing fundraising marketing messages, managing individual donors, and overseeing the production of the monthly newsletter. The salary is £27,720 per annum, and the hours are 28 per week.

Requirements

• experience of developing, new and compelling fundraising marketing messages and materials
• excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• ability to build and maintain relationships with a wide variety of audiences
• proven ability to work well with others in a team environment
• ability to travel across the area of benefit to meet beneficiaries or attend events
• minimum of three years fundraising experience (advantageous but not essential)
• ability to ensure information is collected, processed, and stored lawfully
• willingness to work to all PTF policies and procedures
• undertaking training and continuous professional development opportunities
