Job Description
The Fleet Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently operating a 53-foot tractor/trailer to transport supplies and materials required for production, supporting two primary functions: shuttle driving between company facilities and local delivery/pick-up within a 100-air-mile radius of Oceanside, CA.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL issued by one state or jurisdiction
- Minimum of 9 months Class A CDL experience within the last 24 months, with at least 6 consecutive months
- Minimum of 3 years of CDL experience
- Experience operating manual transmission required
- Familiarity with DOT regulations, CHP compliance, and safe driving practices
- Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and inspection procedures
- Ability to read and speak English
- Self-motivated with strong attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
