Casual Registered Nurse SAU/PACU

Summit Orthopedics is seeking a Casual Registered Nurse to support our five Surgery Centers in the Twin Cities area. The successful candidate will provide skilled nursing assessment, plans and evaluates treatment, and administers appropriate nursing intervention to all patients admitted to the surgery center.

Requirements

• Collect, interpret, record and communicate pertinent data for safe surgical patient outcome
• Follow established guidelines for providing administration of safe nursing care
• Organize equipment and monitoring devices needed to perform assessment
• Revises plan of care as needed to accommodate patient’s specific needs
• Communicates plan of care to other staff of the center as needed
• Provides direct care to patients, meeting their physiological and psychological needs
• Continuously evaluates the patient’s response to nursing and surgical interventions and modifies plan of care to accommodate change to achieve optimal patient outcomes
