Job Description
Summit Orthopedics is seeking a Physician Assistant to join their team. The role will involve working closely with a Foot and Ankle Physician and Team, assisting in surgery, and providing patient care. The position is full-time, with a Monday-Friday schedule, and may involve floating to other Summit locations as needed.
Requirements
- Floating to various Summit teams and locations to provide support
- Assisting in surgery as needed
- Working closely with the surgeon and second APP to diagnose and treat patients with Foot and Ankle conditions
- Triaging patient calls and evaluating patient problems
- Responding to emergencies, including use of CPR
- Preparing patients for surgery
- Conducting physical exams and taking medical history
- Ordering diagnostic tests and scans and prescribing medications
- Administering injections and managing simple fracture management/cast application and removal
