Underground Crew - All Positions (Foreman/A, B , C Lineman/Operator/Groundman

Sumter Utilities, Inc. is seeking entire Underground Crews (Foreman/A Lineman/B Lineman/C Lineman/Operator/Groundman) for a Full-Time position. The successful candidates will possess existing experience working together as a construction crew and demonstrate a shared commitment to safe operations. Requirements

• Ability to work long distances on short notice
• Ability to work overtime
• Able to read and interpret site plans, construction prints/drawings and scopes of work
• Ability to safely operate heavy equipment
• Ability to lead and record Job Task Safety Analysis (JTSA) meetings
• Ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate teamwork skills
• Ability to travel and work away from home
• Ability to work in confined spaces
• Ability to perform basic bucket rescue/escape
• Ability to work at heights and/or confined spaces
• Ability to climb different types of structures
• Ability to identify different types of materials used in line work
• Ability to understand flag and tag procedures
