MANAGER - Biotechnology

The role of Manager - Biotechnology involves leading the downstream group within the Biological Drug Substance Unit, with expertise in process and operations-based development of purified recombinant proteins and monoclonal antibodies.

Requirements

• Establish and lead the downstream group within the Biological Drug Substance Unit
• Design, plan, operate, and monitor downstream processes for development, scale-up, and GMP production
• Expertise in downstream process development of large molecules, recombinant protein, and monoclonal antibodies
• Proficient in handling chromatographic systems, TFF system, and filtration system
• Sound knowledge of operating and interpreting experimental results using standard tools
• Familiarity with downstream process scale-up principles and analytical and process data interpretation
• Proficient in writing documents such as BMR, SOPs, Investigational protocols, and reports
• Mentor junior scientists or associates with scientific and technical expertise and guidance on downstream processing
