The Site Safety Coordinator will be responsible for monitoring and evaluating the workplace to ensure compliance with all OSHA and company regulations, and providing project safety updates to the Management team. The role will also involve delivering safety training and new employee orientations, and supporting incident investigations.
Requirements
- Familiarity with local, state, and federal codes as they apply to all aspects of solar construction and construction equipment and tools
- Demonstrated ability to evaluate environmental health and safety related risks
- Knowledge of power generation mechanical and electrical systems
- Ability to travel extended periods of time
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, including tact and diplomacy
- Ability to maintain an established work schedule
- Ability to interact and communicate effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures
- Effective organization and planning skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to safely drive a company vehicle
