Respiratory Therapist

Respiratory Therapist position available at Sunnyside Nursing and Post-Acute Care in Torrance, California. Perform various respiratory care tasks, provide oxygen therapy, and assist with patient care. Must have an active Respiratory Therapist License and be authorized to work in the United States.

Requirements

• Perform set-up, operation, and monitoring of ventilator
• Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge of residents with airway needs
• Provide Oxygen Therapy
• Coughing and deep breathing instruction and exercises
• Aerosol Therapy
• Chest therapy
• IPPB, CPAP, and BiPAP Therapy
• Airway maintenance
• ABG interpretation and analysis
• Consult with physician and follow protocols for ventilator management
