The Lead Engineer will lead the entire engineering lifecycle of a yacht construction project, coordinating all phases from design to delivery. They will ensure compliance with maritime standards, manage technical documentation, and oversee stakeholder collaboration. The role involves both on-site problem-solving and ongoing budget management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marine engineering, Naval Architecture, or related field
- Minimum 4 years of experience in engineering for yachts or commercial vessels
- Proficiency in CAD and 3D design tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Rhino, SolidWorks)
- Knowledge of marine systems, materials, and construction methods
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Experience with hybrid propulsion, luxury yacht outfitting, or composite hulls (optional)
- Previous work experience in marine engineering/ shipbuilding environments (optional)
- Familiarity with project management tools (MS Project, Primavera, etc.) (optional)
