The Area Manager will coordinate all area activities through Branch Managers, reporting to the VP of Sales, and be responsible for the sales and operational performance of locations within their defined geography.
Requirements
- Oversee area branch performance to meet business goals
- Develop and maintain a safe and positive work environment for all employees
- Ensure customer satisfaction through timely, accurate, and high-quality products and services
- Lead regular sales cadence calls and make joint sales calls with Branch Managers and sales teams
- Organize regular meetings with Branch Managers to review performance
- Support recruiting, selection, and development of Branch Managers and key roles
- Conduct and/or oversee the annual review process for Branch Managers
- Control overtime and staffing levels at the area level
- Monitor and drive performance to meet goals for sales, planned outputs, labor efficiency, material efficiency, inventory turns, on-time delivery, safety, and service levels
