Director of Admissions

SUNY Ulster is seeking a Director of Admissions to oversee the admissions process and student advising services within the Enrollment Success Center. This role will lead a team in guiding prospective students through the enrollment process, providing professional development, and ensuring student success. The position reports to the Dean of Enrollment and Student Success Management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• Five years of experience in admissions
• At least three years in a supervisory or leadership role
• Strong understanding of community college students
• Demonstrated experience with student recruitment, retention, and success strategies
• Knowledge of advising best practices and enrollment management
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments
