SUNY Ulster is seeking a Director of Admissions to oversee the admissions process and student advising services within the Enrollment Success Center. This role will lead a team in guiding prospective students through the enrollment process, providing professional development, and ensuring student success. The position reports to the Dean of Enrollment and Student Success Management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Five years of experience in admissions
- At least three years in a supervisory or leadership role
- Strong understanding of community college students
- Demonstrated experience with student recruitment, retention, and success strategies
- Knowledge of advising best practices and enrollment management
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments
