Job Description
Supermicro is seeking a Hardware Design Engineer to join their hardware design engineering team. The role involves designing and reviewing server board schematic and layout, circuit and application validation, and solving cross-team technical issues. The position offers opportunities to collaborate with various teams and work with advanced server technologies. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hardware design and engineering.
Requirements
- BSEE or MSEE with 4+ years of experiences on DCDC converter design (preferred)
- Knowledge of PCB design, storage and HPC systems (strongly desirable)
- Familiarity with oscilloscope soldering irons and various serial bus analyzers lab equipment
- System and component debugging skills with strong capability in providing resolutions
- Excellent documentation and communication skills
- Self-motivated team player
