Job Description
Surfshark is seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer to join their VPN Engineering team, focusing on the orchestration layer of their next-generation networking platform. This role involves designing and building control plane services in Go, building APIs for configuration distribution and health tracking, and integrating with identity systems. The company prioritizes growth, learning, community, and well-being.
Requirements
- Experience designing and operating distributed systems.
- Familiarity with authentication/authorization standards (OIDC, OAuth2, JWT, mTLS).
- Experience building APIs and working with manifest-driven or declarative configuration systems.
- Solid understanding of monitoring, metrics, and health-based rollouts.
