Job Description
S:US is seeking a full-time Assistant Program Director (APD) to support individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities. The APD will be responsible for promoting independence, managing care, coordinating activities, and ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations. This role involves a dedicated workforce of 2,400 employees serving over 37,000 individuals and families in New York City.
Requirements
- Manage the holistic healthcare, nutrition, and wellness of individuals.
- Ensure the coordination of all recreation and other community activities.
- Supervise staff (DSPs and Shift Supervisors), promoting learning and development.
- Role model the necessary behaviors to support independence and the aspirations of the individuals.
- Ensure health and safety compliance.
