Job Description
S:US is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide habilitation services to individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities in a safe environment. This role offers flexible scheduling, 1199 union benefits, and the opportunity for internal promotion. The position involves assisting clients with daily living, skills development, medication administration, and ensuring nutritional needs are met.
Requirements
- Provide habilitation services as prescribed in service plans.
- Assist clients in skill development (activities of daily living, domestic living, recreation, socialization).
- Administer medication and ensure compliance with facility policies.
- Maintain nutritional needs and assist with feeding.
- Report any facility problems or abuse.
