Job Description
S:US is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities in their daily lives. This position offers experience in a new field and is supported by the OPWDD (Office of Professional and Vocational Training Department). The role involves habilitation, skill development, medication administration, and reporting facility concerns.
Requirements
- Provide habilitation services (activity of daily living assistance, medication administration, etc.)
- Assist clients with skill development in various areas
- Administer medications as required
- Ensure clients’ nutritional needs are met
- Report any facility concerns
