Job Description
We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our ACT team, providing person-centered care to adults with severe mental illness. The nurse will assist with medication management, communicate with other medical providers, and educate clients and team members on health promotion and disease management.
Requirements
- State of New York Registered Nurse Licensure
- CPR/First Aid Certification
- Ability to communicate and engage effectively with individuals of varied backgrounds, trauma experiences, cultures, education level, and socio-economic status
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to send and receive oral and written messages, in a clear, positive, prompt, and appropriate manner, while maintaining customer confidentiality
