Job Description
This is an internship opportunity for a Design Assistant in Menswear at SW Studios GmbH in Hannover. The role involves supporting the design team in developing creative designs, contributing to technical drawings and pattern documents, preparing presentations, communicating with suppliers, managing samples, and conducting market research.
Requirements
- Supporting the design team in the development of creative designs and concepts for new menswear collections
- Contributing to technical drawings and pattern documents for the production department
- Preparing mood boards and presentations for internal and external meetings
- Communication with suppliers regarding material samples, delivery times and quality
- Organization and management of sample parts and prototypes including fittings and adjustments
- Maintenance and structuring of design data, digital files and documentation
- Conducting trend and market research
