Project Engineer, Structural Analysis

Swift Engineering is seeking a seasoned Airframe Structural Analyst with knowledge of Solid Mechanics to join their team. The role involves performing static, modal, fatigue, and damage tolerance stress analysis, verifying structural integrity, and contributing to the development of new aircraft designs. The position requires collaboration with a team and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Requirements

• B.S. in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or related field
• 6+ years’ experience in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, physics, or related discipline
• 3+ years’ experience in structural analysis (FEA) within aerospace, military, automotive, medical, and/or commercial industries
• Experience performing structural analysis of large complex assemblies
• Experience with closed form mechanical engineering solution approaches
• Knowledge of Airworthiness Certification process
• Proficiency in CAD (preferably SolidWorks and/or CATIA/3DX)
• Experience performing Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) (M.S. preferred)
• ITAR compliance
