Job Description
Swift Transportation is seeking a CDL Instructor to train and evaluate student drivers, ensuring they possess the skills to become a licensed commercial driver. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years OTR experience, previous experience as a third-party tester or CVTA Master Level Instructor, and must qualify as a Class A CDL driver.
Requirements
- 2+ years OTR experience
- Previous experience as a third-party tester or CVTA Master Level Instructor
- Must qualify as a Class A CDL driver
- Must have appropriate state certification as a CDL Examiner
- Must be able to work in all types of weather conditions
- Must be able to handle changing priorities
- Must possess exceptional communication skills
- Must be self-motivated
- Must engage in ongoing education relating to teaching skills
- Must maintain Professional Truck driver Institute (PTDI) and Commercial Vehicle Training Association (CVTA) standards
