First Connect is a software platform designed for insurance agents to easily connect with top Insurtech providers and other tech-forward insurance carriers. The platform's standout feature is a robust comparative rater that lets insurance agents input data to generate multiple insurance quotes for their clients. In this role, you will own this area, making FC's rater the best in class in terms of user experience, speed, accuracy, and costs.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Node.js
- Good, practical knowledge of at least one relational database system (e.g. PostgreSQL/MySQL/SQL Server)
- Experience implementing the test pyramid (unit, integration, e2e tests)
- Good command of English (written & spoken)
- Readiness to learn and expand skill set as required by ongoing projects
