Senior Network Engineer

Sword is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to support critical infrastructure and lead the design, deployment, and troubleshooting of network and security solutions. The role involves providing expert-level support to clients, managing change, and mentoring junior engineers. This is a hands-on position focused on problem-solving and continuous improvement within a dynamic environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a similar role
• Strong understanding of network security, firewalls, VPNs, and monitoring tools
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Logical and methodical approach to troubleshooting
• CCNP certification is desirable
• Valid driving licence is essential
• Experience administering and troubleshooting Cisco routers
• Solid understanding of Wide Area Networking (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP)
