2026 Stop Loss Claims Internship - Remote

Symetra has an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Stop Loss Claims Intern! This internship is entirely remote and will last for 12 weeks, running from May 18 – August 7, 2026. The intern will learn about the competitive and dynamic “self-funded health Insurance” industry, how to succeed in a completely remote environment, and how to update data-driven content.

Requirements

• Must be enrolled in a Bachelor Program (preferably a junior or senior)
• Interest in learning about how employers, employees, and their families benefit from health care insurance coverage
• Must be self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and with teams
• Interest in learning and completing project work
• Strong experience with Excel
• Experience with Power BI preferred
