Job Description
Symetra has an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Vice President, Sr. Actuary! As a leader, you will oversee financial reporting and reinsurance for Symetra's Retirement Actuarial Group, collaborating with leaders on new reinsurance programs and regulations. You will prioritize the company's financial well-being and own the production, analysis, and documentation of actuarial financial reporting.
Requirements
- 10+ years of insurance-related actuarial experience
- 2+ years of direct experience with reinsurance
- FSA designation required
- Fixed Indexed Annuity experience required and extensive knowledge of US GAAP FAS 133 and US Statutory Actuarial Guideline 33/35
