Job Description
Layout Design, Staff Engineer-16003 at Synopsys in Ottawa, Canada. We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Layout Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in analog and mixed-signal CMOS circuit layout and be able to design and implement complex layouts for high-speed SerDes physical interfaces.
Requirements
- Bachelor or advanced degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering (or equivalent)
- 5+ years of experience in analog and mixed-signal CMOS layout design, including complex integrated circuits
- Expertise in deep submicron CMOS technologies and layout effects (matching, reliability, proximity, EM, IR, etc.)
- Proficiency in layout floor planning, verification, and quality validation using industry-standard EDA tools
