Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Aerospace Engineer to drive the adoption of digital mission engineering software within key aerospace and defense organizations, enhancing customer workflows and mission success. The successful candidate will have a strong academic background in engineering, physics, or computer science, with at least 5 years of professional experience in an engineering software environment. Key responsibilities include providing technical leadership, developing and implementing holistic system-level solutions, and collaborating with customers and internal teams to integrate high-fidelity analytical models into system-level solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in an engineering software environment
- Demonstrated use of Ansys software or knowledge of commercial process integration, optimization, systems engineering, mission simulation, PLM, PDM, SPDM, and CAD tools
- Programming experience in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, MATLAB, Python, or scripting languages
- Hands-on experience with industry tools like AFSIM, Cameo, ModelCenter, or similar
- Strong logical problem-solving skills and technical aptitude for integrating and deploying complex engineering solutions
- Ability to prepare and deliver technical presentations to diverse audiences, both internally and externally
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically up to 25% of the time
