Job Description
Sysdig is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to contribute to their scale-out effort, designing and building backend features for runtime threat detection, policy enforcement, and alerting. They emphasize a diverse and collaborative culture focused on cloud security and innovation. The role requires collaboration with various teams and utilizing AI tools to boost productivity.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional experience in backend software development.
- Strong computer science fundamentals in algorithms, data structures, systems design, and large-scale distributed systems.
- Hands-on experience designing and building scalable backend services, including APIs and data processing pipelines.
- Experience with Go, Java, or C++ in production environments.
- Experience with containerized workloads and cloud-native infrastructure.
- Experience with logging best practices and emitting useful metrics for observability and troubleshooting of distributed systems.
- Experience with AI tools to increase productivity.
- Experience building or operating security products
