Mechanical Engineer I

Syska Hennessy Group is seeking a Mechanical Engineer I to support their engineering teams. The ideal candidate will be an entry-level engineer with a strong foundation in mechanical engineering, able to work collaboratively and independently, and willing to learn and grow with the company.

Requirements

• Create basic designs under the direction of a senior engineer and/or senior designer
• Learn drawing organization and company standards
• Perform CAD/BIM-drafting for a variety of projects and project sizes
• Coordinate with the designs of other trades
• Support the design and engineering efforts of systems for new installations, system retrofits, system replacement, and system upgrades
• Take ownership of completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of work assignments
• Assist engineers with field investigations and construction site visits
• Participate in the EDT program training sessions and support activities
